Performing Arts Center

The Harbor Springs Performing Arts Center (P.A.C.) provides three services to the community. First and most important, it is a performance venue and gathering space for all the programs that serve the students of our district.  Musicals and plays like THE CURSE OF THE COBRA'S KISS and BEST OF BROADWAY, choir and band concerts, and assemblies and talent shows come most readily to mind.

Secondly, professional groups, non-profit organizations, businesses, and individuals can rent the P.A.C. Recent renters have been the CMU/Blissfest presentation of the Irish Band DERVISH in March, the Purity Ring production of A LETTER OF INTRODUCTION , the award-winning Canadian film LAUGHOLOGY in April, and THE YOUNG AMERICANS IN CONCERT in June.

Thirdly, the P.A.C. and community organizations work together to bring professional quality performances to our school district and community. The Crooked Tree Arts Center's presentation of DANCE THE HALLS last December is a good example. Another is The Association for Harbor Arts and the Little Traverse Civic Theatre's collaborated on Disney's BEAUTY AND THE BEAST during the summer of 2009.
