Goals of the MS/HS Art Program
To foster creativity, problem solving, cultivate connections between brain to body and mind to creations, and create an artistic accepting space/community for all students to work on their visual art skills no matter their level or confidence.
Ms Talcott is excited to continue to work on her own skills along side the students in a. active studio/art room set up.
This is my sixth year teaching at Harbor Springs Public Schools and I have enjoyed every moment of it.
Being able to return to my home town and having the opportunity to teach in the same schools I was educated within is something I never imagined would be possible. I am so grateful for the opportunity.
We live in such a naturally beautiful area and such an artistically enriched community, I hope that through my work with your student(s), they are able to gain skills in problem solving, expressing their ideas/emotions and can learn to see and appreciate what is around them through a creative lens.
I look forward to continuing to work with our wonderful students, teachers, parents and community.
Please feel free to reach out to me at any time with questions or feedback.
