I have been teaching math for 22 years. I am from Marquette, MI and am proud to call myself a Yooper. I graduated from NMU in 1997 with a degree in Mathematics and Business Education. I received my Masters in Education from Marygrove College in 2003. I am the oldest of seven children and I think my parents are saints for raising all of us. I moved to Harbor Springs 20 years ago after I married my husband Troy. I have four children, Damien, Emma, Luke, and Noah. I am very proud of my family and hope that I am remembered for my love of children. I love teaching at Harbor Springs High School. The small school allows us to make better connections with our students, which helps us to understand their learning needs.
