Elementary Focuses on Respect to Start the School Year!

This video features our very own elementary students and staff as they describe what respect means to them.  These homemade videos are part of our Districtwide PBIS program (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports). The purpose of PBIS is to improve social, emotional and academic outcomes for all students focusing on teaching and emphasizing positive reinforcement.

Backyard Adventures Give Elementary and Middle School Students a Sense of Place While They "Learn Local"!

Harbor Springs Public Schools 2nd, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students engaged in a great opportunity to apply real-life concepts in the Backyard Adventure, Learn Local field trips in the spring of 2021. Thanks to a generous grant from the Petoskey Harbor Springs Area Community Foundation. This great learning experience was facilitated by Toponexus educators located in downtown Harbor Springs.
