Demolition Photographs - Shay Elementary

Demolition of Shay Elementary continued this week. The HSHS STEM/Drones class provided footage of the initial work completed.

Construction Update - New Elementary School Exterior Renderings

Harbor Springs High School is looking for graduates or people with a strong connection to the area to be considered to deliver the commencement address to the Class of 2023. The application can be accessed in the following link:
The construction fencing has been installed in the old pick up/drop off lane in front of Shay Elementary, the pick up/drop off lane has shifted to the former horizontal parking area.  Parking will be available across Lake Street in the overflow lot.  Students will still be able to access the middle school from the new pick up/drop off lane.  Please contact Mr. Plackemeier (bplackemeier@harborps.org or 231-526-4540) with questions or concerns.  A detailed map is available in the link below.

The high school STEM/Drones class will be documenting the demolition and construction of the new elementary. They completed a video walkthrough of the building prior to demolition, which can be accessed in the link below.
HSPS will be hosting informational nights on Thursday, October 13th and Wednesday, October 19th regarding the district's operational and recreation millage proposals in the upcoming election. Both sessions will begin at 6:00 PM in the middle school library.
