Synopsis

Hollywood 2 Harbor (H2H) is a unique 4-day event that provides hands-on experience by working directly with award-winning TV, Film, and media industry professionals. H2H is hosted by Harbor Springs Public Schools, and made available by the Audio Engineering & Video Editing (AEVE) course.

The event begins Friday for pre-registered students with introductions and breakout group clinics. Friday afternoon a Masterclass and Q&A is open to all students and general public. Accepted interns will divide into breakout groups from multiple trades for the weekend. Students will delve into productions skills and techniques to produce professional-grade work and earn a Production Assistant credit in a local production.

H2H concludes with a closing clinic and viewing of the students’ work with the community. All students and the public are welcome to attend Master Classes. Limited positions for breakout sessions and weekend internship. No Experience needed.

Internship Registration Closed – We hope to see you next year!

Focus: Documentary – Ponytales

This year’s H2H focus is Documentary. HSPS alumni, Taylor Dueweke, and the H2H team will take participants through the process of working on the upcoming documentary: Ponytales, earning a credit title of Production Assistant. Students will assist with lighting, sound, and filming interviews while on location at The Manitou and Club Ponytail.
