Harbor Soles (Formerly Girls on the Run)
April 13 – May 25 (ending with 5K race on May 29)

Harbor Soles Girls Running Club is a group of young women, grades 3 through 5 interested in learning more about healthy lifestyles and running. We will train our bodies and mind for a 5K that takes place during the Tip of the Mitt Trails Council Festival of the Races on May 29, 2021. The club begins April 13, and will meet Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:00 near Shayground. We will be running outside so dress accordingly and bring a water bottle. Pre-registration is required, forms and payment can be submitted on the first day of practice.

Softball Instructional Play

Softball is a fun team sport that young women can learn at any age! The purpose of this IP program is to give girls an opportunity to learn the basics of softball, improve on existing skills and learn an appreciation of the game. Terminology, fundamentals and game play will be taught through hands on experience.
Theater Production and Design Club

Performing Arts Center
Are you interested in learning more about theater production and design? This club aims to develop a core group of student technicians for backstage work for future school productions. Students will have hands on learning opportunities designed to familiarize them with theater equipment and develop skills in light design, sound design, and theater production. If able, students should bring their own adjustable crescent wrench and a pair of work gloves. If you’re interested in participating please submit the registration form. Once your form is received a separate safety permission slip will be emailed to your parent or guardian. Please feel free to contact Hannah if you have any further questions.

Harbor Springs Rec Soccer

Harbor Spring Rec Soccer is a parent/volunteer run developmental soccer program for kindergarten through second graders. We emphasize FUN through age appropriate activities. Pre-registering is recommended. The participation fee can be paid online, or in person on the first day. Harbor Springs Rec soccer is in need of Volunteer Team Leaders. There is no experience necessary, leaders will be provided training and must have a background check. The participation fee is waived for parents who are Volunteer Team Leaders. We are excited to offer The Young Americans Performing Arts Summer Camp at Harbor Springs High School this year with Covid precautions in place. Our team has taken special care to reconfigure our program keep campers, their families, and the staff safe. This summer, Harbor Springs Community Schools is excited to collaborate with Brian Rahley to provide top quality tennis instruction to Harbor Springs. From tiny tots, to high school workouts, to adult sessions, Harbor Springs Summer Tennis will provide what you are looking for in your tennis experience. Harbor Springs High School Tennis players will be offered free workshops, and all Harbor Springs school district students will be offered discounted rates.
